Training Program is a 12-week beginners training plan. Fee includes training plan, training tips, a coach to lead group runs, race entry fee, a training shirt and finishers medal.

The Metro Miler’s Route 66 10K training program taught me how to set a running goal and accomplish it. But by no means did I do it on my own, it was completely a group effort. Having a running group there to celebrate each milestone in my training was the encouragement I needed to continue even when my mind, body and others said I could quit at anytime. Running with various runners from various backgrounds helped me to acquire knowledge in the sport that I would not otherwise have been able to learn on my own so quickly. Not only did I complete the 10K but with the knowledge I gained I was able to push myself farther and run a half marathon four months later. I contribute my success in running to this group of great people who through their love of the sport encourage others to succeed.
